Therapists’ Reflective Corner
Resources, Reflection & Private Practice
Welcome to Therapists’ Reflective Corner, a dedicated space for reflective practice, professional growth, and sustaining the work you do as a practitioner. I created this space because, through my own journey as a therapist, I’ve discovered how vital it is to nurture the conditions that keep our work alive and I’m passionate about helping other practitioners do the same. Here, you can explore practical strategies, reflective exercises, and 1:1 guidance designed to help you strengthen your practice, manage your energy, and clarify the structures that support your work.
Whether you’re just beginning to navigate your professional journey or looking to see your established practice with fresh eyes, this corner is about supporting the practitioner behind the work and helping you stay present, focused, and energised for the people you see.
You’ll find a six-week reflective programme for practitioners, practical worksheets for private practice planning, budgeting and clinical reflection, and a website review service designed to help therapists and counsellors communicate their work clearly online.
Ways to Work Together
Reflective resources and individual support for psychotherapists, counsellors, and practitioners navigating the practical and personal conditions of private practice.
A focused review of your psychotherapy or counselling website, with personalised feedback on your wording, presentation and online visibility.
I will review up to three key pages of your website and provide a written assessment highlighting what is working well, what could be improved, and the changes I would prioritise to help you communicate your practice more clearly to prospective clients.
The review will focus on:
Website wording: How clearly you explain your approach, services, fees and way of working.
Presentation: The structure, layout and overall impression your website creates.
Visibility: Opportunities to improve page titles, headings, location information and basic search visibility.
Enquiries: How easily prospective clients can understand the next steps and contact you.
Please note: This service provides written feedback and practical recommendations only. Website edits, technical implementation and ongoing SEO are not included.

6-Week Reflective Program for Practitioners
Explore, reflect, and strengthen the conditions that keep your practice alive.
Your practice can only work if it works for you. The conditions that support you are the same ones that sustain the work itself. This is a space to pause, think, and find what needs adjusting so that you can stay present and alive in your practice.
Over six weeks, we will explore the rhythms of your work, the structures that hold it, and the small shifts that can make a big difference in how you show up for yourself and your clients. You’ll have space to reflect on your energy, your boundaries, and what keeps the work meaningful, while also experimenting with practical ways to support your practice.
This isn’t about rigid rules or a “one-size-fits-all” approach. It’s about discovering what works for you, reconnecting with what drew you to this work in the first place, and finding ways to make your practice more sustainable and meaningful.
The Six Sessions
Session 1: The Conditions of the Practitioner
Explore how your current way of working supports or drains you, what helps you show up as you need to, and what might need adjusting.
Session 2: Boundaries, Time, and Fees
Reflect on the practical and emotional sides of setting boundaries, managing time, cancellations and fees, and creating a structure that holds both you and the work.
Session 3: Presence and Visibility
Explore how you speak about your work, how your online presence reflects who you are, and how to communicate your practice clearly and authentically.
Session 4: Finding Your Rhythm
Consider the rhythm of your working week, what leaves you drained, what keeps you curious and engaged, and the small shifts that can help you stay connected to the work.
Session 5: Creativity and Renewal
Reconnect with what first drew you to this work, consider where energy might be leaking out, and explore ways to bring renewed interest and creativity into your practice.
Session 6: Reflection and What Comes Next
Take stock of what has emerged over the six weeks, the insights and shifts that have taken place, and what you want to carry forward.
How It Works
The programme takes place over six weeks, with online meetings via Google Meet. The sessions offer a space for guided reflection, alongside practical ideas and exercises to support your working life.
After booking, we will arrange the session time and the details for joining the Google Meet sessions.
Please note: This is a professional reflective programme for practitioners. It is not a substitute for personal psychotherapy, clinical supervision or professional training.
6-Week Reflective Program for Practitioners
Explore, reflect, and strengthen the conditions that keep your practice alive.
Each week builds on the idea that your practice can only work if it works for you, that the conditions that support you are the same ones that sustain the work itself.
This isn’t about rigid rules or a “one-size-fits-all” approach, it’s about discovering what works for you, reconnecting with what drew you to this work in the first place, and leaving with ideas, insights, and practices that help your practice feel alive, sustainable, and true to who you are.
-
We’ll begin with what lies at the heart of your work — you.
This session explores how your current way of working either supports or drains you. We’ll think about what helps you show up as you need to, what gets in the way, and how you can begin to put the right conditions in place for your practice to really work.
(If the practice doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work at all.) -
In this session, we’ll look at the practical and emotional sides of setting boundaries, how you manage time, cancellations, and fees, and what comes up around them. Money and time boundaries often bring things to the surface: our limits, our guilt, our sense of value. Paying attention to those moments can teach us a lot. This is about finding a structure that holds both you and the work, without resentment.
-
How do you speak about your work…on your website, to potential clients, or even in conversation?
We’ll explore how to find your voice so your online presence actually reflects who you are, rather than who you think you should sound like. This isn’t about performance or marketing tricks, but about being clear and authentic in how you present your practice.
-
In this session, we’ll pause and look at what it actually feels like to do the work. How are you showing up day to day? What leaves you drained, and what keeps you curious and alive in the room? We’ll explore the rhythm of your week and the spaces you work in. This isn’t about a perfect schedule, it’s about noticing what works for you, what doesn’t, and trying small shifts that can help you stay present, grounded, and connected to the work you care about.
-
Over time, private practice can start to feel repetitive, draining, or like the spark has faded. In this session we’ll look at what first drew you to this work, what keeps you curious and engaged now, and where energy might be leaking out. We’ll explore small ways to bring life back into the work through experiments, reflective habits, or shifts in perspective so that your practice stays energising for both you and the people you see.
-
In our final session, we’ll pause and take stock of what’s come up over the six weeks: the little shifts, the insights, and the things that surprised you. We’ll think about what feels alive in your practice, what you want to hold on to, and what might need a bit more attention moving forward. The aim is to leave with a sense of clarity and confidence about how to keep your work sustainable, meaningful, and aligned with the person doing it — you.
FAQ: Reflective 1:1 Six-Week Course
-
This course is for therapists and practitioners of any orientation who want to take a step back, reflect on their practice, and find ways to stay present, energised, and connected to their work. It’s for anyone who wants a space to pause, notice what’s happening in their practice, and think about how to stay connected, energised, and in tune with the work they do, whether you’re just starting out or have been seeing clients for a while.
-
No — this isn’t clinical supervision. Think of it as a reflective space just for you as the practitioner. It’s a chance to pause, notice what’s happening in your practice, explore how your energy, boundaries, and presence show up, and try out small adjustments that help the work feel easier, more alive, and sustainable.
-
We’ll meet for six one-to-one sessions, usually once a week. Each session looks at a different part of your practice from the conditions that support you, to boundaries, rhythm, and staying connected to your work. It’s a mix of reflective conversation and practical ideas, all shaped around what’s coming up for you in your work, so it feels personal and tailored to you.
-
Each session lasts approximately 45-50 minutes, with a few minutes at the end to reflect and note down key takeaways.
-
No preparation is required. You might find it helpful to jot down what you’re finding difficult about your practice right now and what you would like your practice to look like.
-
Sessions are an investment of €60 per session, this is an investment in you and your practice. Total package price: €360. Note: can only be purchased as a package.
